DVD di Houston cancellato

While Jean Michel Jarre is pressing ahead with the second part of his Oxygene Tour, I read about "Jarre.uk" which was canceled plans to publish a DVD of the legendary concert in Houston 1986. The reasons seem to reside in low-quality audio / video of the original tracks that do not correspond to current standard e non soddisfano neanche lo stesso Jarre.

Lo credo bene! Dopo il magnifico DVD del concerto in China Aero 2004,

non si può presentare Houston in tali condizioni. Risulterebbe troppo

riduttivo e non renderebbe l'idea di quanto colossale quel concerto sia

stato. Ricordo infatti che grazie a quell'evento Jarre entrò nel Guinness dei primati con 1 milione e 300 mila (fortunati) spettatori!

Che sfiga!!! Non sono potuto andare al concerto di Jarre a Roma :-(
Una serie di sfortunate coincidenze dell’ultim’ora mi hanno costretto a rinunciare, pur avendo acquistato il biglietto…
Pare proprio non sia destino che io veda il maestro dal vivo… Mi sono dovuto consolare leggendo i commenti e osservando (con un po' d'invidia!!!) le foto fatte al Granteatro di Roma dagli amici di Jarre.it.
Mi dispiace quasi di più per aver perso l’occasione di conoscere voi altri appassionati come me e sentirmi così un po’meno solo in questa ammirazione verso la musica di Jean Michel. Già, perché quando parlo di Jarre a colleghi e conoscenti mi sento quasi sempre rispondere: “Chi è questo?????”. Che tristezza!
Spero almeno che grazie al discreto successo di questi concerti in Italia, Jarre si sia convinto che ci sono molti suoi fans anche nel nostro Paese e mantenga la sua promessa espressa alla fine del concerto di Roma:” SEE YOU NEXT YEAR ! ”

Per tutti i fans come me che ancora non hanno avuto il piacere di assistere ad un’esibizione live del grande Jean Michel Jarre è arrivato il momento giusto!

You have made a quick trip to see the new layout of the site ufficiale del Maestro? E’veramente una figata! Altro che quella boiata ai tempi di Aero in cui la sua immagine “liftata” dominava lo schermo e i contenuti erano ridotti all’osso e, come se non bastasse, il sottofondo di Space Of Freedom (March 23 di Sessions 2000) stendeva un velo di malinconia sul sito e nell’animo del visitatore.

Ben altra aria si respira adesso! Ricca di OSSIGENO … Eh Eh!
Giustamente la home page è dedicata all’album che lo ha portato al successo e a cui rimane fermamente associato in tutto il mondo: Oxygene .

Maybe not all Jarre fans know him and ask, "Who was he?" And especially "What to do with Jarre?”.
Ebbene Clarke fu colui che scrisse il mitico romanzo “ 2001: Odissea nello spazio ” da cui fu tratto l’omonimo film diretto da Kubrick. In pratica fu uno dei Padri della letteratura di fantascienza e contribuì all’invenzione delle attuali orbite satellitari geostazionarie tanto che esse sono anche dette “orbite Clarke” in suo onore

Ma veniamo al nostro Jean Michel Jarre che nel 2001 non si fece scappare l’occasione di associare il suo nome a quello di Arthur C. Clarke in occasione del concerto “ Rendez-vous in Space ” tenutosi a Okinawa in Japan with his band The ViZitors . The idea of \u200b\u200bthis concert was to celebrate the "real" beginning of the new millennium ... or the beginning of the future!
